You certainly haven’t needed our last two blogs to become fully aware that the coronavirus pandemic is headline news across the globe. All over the world, the COVID-19 crisis is taking a major toll. There are many countries, including such usually-glorious destinations as Italy and Spain, which are currently on lockdown. And with social distancing and working from home becoming the norm, there is little time for people to consider their next vacations.
Our hearts go out to the world.
Firstly, it’s important to the entire Taitam Technology Vacations team that we communicate our collective sadness about the present situation. Our hearts go out to the tens of thousands across the world who have been directly impacted by the coronavirus. We join the rest of the planet in hoping that losses of lives stop as soon as possible.
Secondly, we want to communicate how seriously we are taking the health and safety of both our employees and our Members. As mentioned, we know that people aren’t thinking about travelling, at the moment, so we’re taking steps to ensure that our staff’s health is considered a top priority. For the time being, we will not be conducting tours at our office location. Instead, we will be available for consultations by phone.

Our team is completely committed to supporting our Members and the community at large during this very difficult time. In lieu of helping you book your next luxury vacation, we would like to offer services of a different nature.
Do you need a driver to take you to the hospital? We’re committed to making those arrangements. Do you know of a community support group who may require some office space to deliver and house food, supplies and other necessities to members of the community in need? We’re willing to help. In fact, if you happen to have any suggestions at all as to what assistance we can provide, we are more than open to hearing them. As you can imagine, this is completely new territory for us.
Let us be clear – we are not shutting our doors.
While we can’t exactly say that it is “business as usual” around here, we remain very optimistic about our future. In due time, this awful coronavirus pandemic will be a thing of the past. We look very much forward to the days when we’ll all be free to travel the world again. And when those days come, we’ll be here excitedly helping you book the vacations of your life!
